Hactl Green Week 2021
Hactl held its latest annual Green Week under the theme “Be Greener”, to promote sustainable and zero-waste living. Most activities were held online as part of Hactl’s COVID preventive measures, and included an introduction to “TO-GATHER” (the newly-launched multi-purpose space on the rooftop of SuperTerminal 1), a presentation on municipal solid waste charging, and games. A physical green market was also held, in which local green groups and over 30 Hactl staff co-hosted booths selling green products, and promoting sustainability initiatives such as upcycling, responsible consumption, fair trade and green diet. The market also featured an exhibition of artwork by people in recovery from mental illness, supported by New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association - a local NGO which advocates social inclusion.
