Sixth year of success

The most recent Payload Asia Awards – the sixth since the programme was launched – saw Hactl and Hacis walk off with no less than four titles.

For the sixth year running, Hactl was named Ground Handler of the Year (Customer Choice). It also won the Green Award (Customer Choice) for the second time, recognising its continuing efforts in environmental protection.

Hacis, too, maintained its four-year run of successes, winning both Customer Choice and Industry Choice sections of the Regional Logistics Provider of the Year category.

Hactl Executive Director Vivien Lau (also Managing Director of Hacis) and Finance Director Amy Lam collected the awards at a gala ceremony in Singapore, watched by hundreds of senior air cargo executives.

The Payload Asia Awards include three Editor’s Choice and twenty category awards - the latter divided into Customer Choice Awards (based on online voting by customers, business partners and Payload Asia readers), and Industry Choice Awards (decided by a panel of industry experts).

In this year’s awards, 90 nominations were received, and 25,000 votes were cast. All results are independently audited.

Says Vivien Lau: “We especially value those awards based on online voting, as these clearly reflect the views of our customers and users. We thank all those who supported us.”
